AsianSTSS was founded in 2005 as a fully incorporated limited company registered in Hong Kong for professionals to share information about the effects of trauma. Its mission is to advance knowledge about the nature and consequences of highly stressful events and provide a forum for the sharing of research, clinical strategies, public policy concerns and theoretical formulations on trauma around the Asian region.
