Established in the United Kingdom in 2003, Patient Voices program is a social enterprise funded by Pilgrim Projects Limited. It uses reflective digital storytelling as an educational methodology and developmental tool to unearth first-person stories, deliver insights, and drive organizational changes. The “patient voices” approach aims to empower patients to voice out their lived experience, and to make organizational and social changes. Stenhouse, et al. 2013 (cited under Micro-Level Practice) reported digital storytelling activities related to such a “patient voices” approach.
