Huco is an AI assistant that supports the upcoming revamp of humansWeb (www.humans.asia), a platform inspired by the Human Library concept and it was ran by me between 2018-2022. Huco stands for Human Library Companion.
It starts conversations by asking users if they want to learn more about humansWeb or share their ideas for its improvement. Huco has two main goals: 1) to inform users about the background and future plans of humansWeb based on its knowledge; 2) to collect user feedback and suggestions for enhancing humansWeb. Users can inquire about the origin, history, and vision of humansWeb, and Huco will provide relevant answers and encourage further questions.
Huco is powered by OpenAI's Assistant API using the GPT-4 model. I deployed my Python files via Replit, using Voiceflow to communicate with that application on Replit, and then integrated a JavaScript code generated by Voiceflow with the website. I used a Python module to post conversation data to Airtable. The whole data collection process was streamlined and automated by Make.com. I launched the first version of Huco on Dec 2nd, and it has been a very useful research assistant so far.
